My family (myself, wife, 4 and 6 year old) carries a catastrophic policy with a $5000 deductible. We are currently paying just over $400 per month for this policy. After talking to our insurance agent, our policy expense is expected to rise to over $800 per month for a policy that is worse than what we currently have. This will put us in a financial bind. Obama promised that ObamaCare would not affect our current plan, but this is ridiculous.
