Ever since Obama got elected into office in 2008 my industry, construction and home improvement, quickly diminished due to the Frank-Dodd bill. I’ve lost sub-contractors (lost their homes and filed bankruptcy), as my costs (taxes, gas, insurance, new building rules and regulations,etc.) have increased by a good 25%. These in turn have restricted my clients from the ability to borrow and make improvements to their homes, so things came to a screeching halt and my business is stale. My savings is being depleted, and I’ve had to sell my home (couldn’t qualify to re-finance though I have a perfect payment history.
