I had called my health plan a few weeks ago, worried about the increase I felt might be coming. They passed me from person to person and then told me I couldn’t get my new premium amount until January since my individual policy renews in February. They assured me that what I was paying now would not be double. Great comfort! Then two weeks later I got my “cancellation” letter from them saying my policy does not meet the ObamaCare guidelines so I am terminated as of December 31. I am very frustrated. I have 22 months to go until I am 65 and go on Medicare. I wanted to retire, but I guess I will work to pay not only for the insurance premium, but to bank money for the new very high deductibles!
