Before I got the cheapest insurance possible through my work, I didn’t have any insurance. I could visit a local doctor for $80 plus tests. I would spend maybe $300-400 a year on medical costs. Now, with insurance, I’m paying $350 a month and still have to pay $30 copays and 20% at the hospital.
