Today we found out that our insurance company’s CHEAPEST policy under the “Affordable Healthcare Act” is over $900/mo! That policy isn’t even close to the coverage that we have now. The rate will go up more than 30% with less coverage. We will be able to keep our current plan with a 10% increase until December 2014 or a new plan that is not comparable for an 86% to 245% increase. The marketplace calculator said over $1000/mo with $12,800 out of pocket. Not so affordable!
