For years I paid the high price of healthcare until I retired and went on Medicare Advantage. When Obamacare was introduced, Senator Bill Nelson made a deal with Obama stating the he would keep Floridians on Medicare Advantage. He was the deciding vote on Obamacare. Then we found out that the deal was not for all Floridians, just for Floridians living in his terrain in South Florida.
Obama said you can keep your current health care and your doctor. Neither promise turned out to be true. My doctor retired and I had to seek healthcare through Humana. From what they tell me, their coverage will change as soon as Obamacare goes into effect, too. Now I wonder just how much longer I will be able to get the coverage I had.
My grandson’s employer just told him that they were dropping his coverage for a smaller coverage plan and that he would have to pay the differences out of pocket.
My sister in law’s two sons have been placed on temporary employment of 29 hours. Nothing of what the president promised has come true but just the opposite. Now that I am in need of coverage, I have been left out to dry or denied. Will I survive?
