I have just been notified by my health insurance company (Asuris) that my comparable plan under the “Affordable Care Act” is the bronze plan, which not only increases my monthly premiums by over 100%, but also has higher deductibles. It was a strain to pay it before, but now I don’t know what I will do, having to pay hundreds of dollars more per month, thousands more per year. This is disgraceful that politicians who are put in office to serve citizens are burdening us more and more with these disastrous laws. The people that put this plan in effect should be ashamed of themselves for doing this to us. I really don’t know what to do at this point… Should I try to figure out how to come up with all that extra per month, or just give up on trying to do the right thing and just drop it all, and suffer the consequences and penalties going forward? This is NOT representative government – this is tyranny of the ruling class.
