I was excited by the thought that maybe some kind of medical insurance would be available to all of the people that I would constantly see coming to the emergency rooms for something as simple as a cold or flu because they knew they would be seen there and they had no money to see a physician on their own.
I even wanted to believe Obama when he said that everyone would be covered and that premiums would go down and all of the sugar-coating he kept piling on. But my mother and father always told me to believe what you can verify and put little faith in a politician’s speech.
When the entire piecing together of this Obamacare bill came together behind closed doors and no one read what they were putting together or would admit that they knew anything about what was in it than it became something to begin to fear. Then when “special compensations” where given to certain Senators to get their vote I knew that it was a nightmare come true. When we were told they would have to pass it to know what was in it, the bill lost any support from me that it could ever have had.
Finally when I was able to read the bill myself and it took me months of going back and forth through the “whereas and whatifs” of legalese, I became enraged at the treason that was pulled on the American people.
The waste, the lack of oversight, the money laundering that was going to be allowed under this Act was nothing short of the biggest farce ever put into place. Everywhere you look is a mining of the American people’s information and to what extent will it be used by people who can not be trusted to carry out what they have produced.
Are you aware that the questions that the doctors will be asking you will even include whether you own firearms, if you have them in safes, are they registered?
This is not a healthcare bill. This is insanity!
