We recently retired and received a letter in Oct 2013 from our benefits department that our insurance premiums were increasing significantly. Our permium increased around 30%. The letter referenced the new healthcare law(s) as one of the primary causes for the increase. Since we are retired and now live on a fixed income the 30% increase had a definite impact on our budget. We elected a much higher deductible to offset the increase and pray that we continue to be blessed with good health. I hold Obama responsible for the negative ecconomic repercussions his healthcare plan has.
