As a California resident who sells to businesses (B2B), I have found that it is very hard to sell products when companies are so concerned about the rising cost of taxes and health programs. They decide to wait another year. Also, Healthy Families, which was run through Blue Shield, is no longer available in California. My kids were put on Medicare, as were all children who were previously on Healthy Families. It now takes over a month to see my doctor due to the heavy data collection my doctor must see less patients to keep up with the workload. I wish we could buy whatever insurance we thought best for our family, and keep the government out of our patient-doctor relationship. My health premiums are going up and my access is shrinking. It’s a bad formula for something as important as healthcare.
