My previous neighbor went from paying a reasonable level of premiums (about $400-500 a month) to $20,000 a year for health insurance. I’m not exaggerating. They had no change in the number of children they have, no health issues that came up – nothing. The implementation of the “Affordable” Care Act was the direct cause of the increases in healthcare costs.
