Our country needs to stop Obamacare because of stories like mine. I graduated last December and haven’t been able to find a full-time job. The jobs I have found in abundance are part-time jobs with little hours and low pay. I tried working two part-time jobs and here’s what happened:

At one of my part-time jobs, I was hoping to get promoted to full-time. I applied for these jobs within the company and was waiting for an interview. Then we (the employees) found out that all non-management full-time positions are being eliminated because of Obamacare, and that full-time no longer means 40 hours a week. It didn’t matter that I had applied to the full-time management positions because now almost everybody else is doing the same thing to try and find full-time employment.  I also ran into a colleague of mine from another store and she said they are doing the same thing at her job – slashing full-time jobs, creating part-time jobs. People cannot live off of part-time jobs in this country with our high cost of living! So now I’m 29 years old with a college degree, and can’t find a decent job to get back on my feet and pay all of my bills. Honestly if it weren’t for my parents and grandparents, I would be on the streets looking for shelter and food. If this is the worst moment in my life, then I’m going to be okay. If Obamacare is not defunded and scratched, the worst moment of my life will no longer be simply a moment, but a lifestyle – not just for me, but for others as well. With this law in place, young people have no future in the United States.
