Our premium went to $2300 a month on September 22 this year. This is our normal renewal time. I received a letter saying we could keep the same plan and everything in November. I assumed this meant the premium would be the same as well since the letter did not state otherwise. I found out today by calling Blue Cross Blue Shield that starting in January my insurance would cost $2500 per month but the high deductibles and everything are unchanged. Thanks to Obamacare I can barely afford insurance every month. After paying the insurance I can’t afford the healthcare so what is the point in having it? I couldn’t get foot surgery because I had to pay $1800 out of pocket first. Lot of good this health insurance is doing.
