I was 66 years old last September 2012, and my company put me into a health exchange company called Extend Health. My Blue Cross/Blue Shield started at $143.00 per month on 10-1-2012. Then on 3-1-2013 my premium went to $149.00. Now 10-1-2013 my new premium will be $172.00 per month. This is an increase of 17% in one year. My rates are not going down, but going up significantly.
